MY STORY
“A strong pair of lungs she has,” my mother thought to herself. A loud child has grown into a slightly less loud adult, never wavering in opinion. Thinking back to the three most important things my mother ever bought me: a pair of ballet flats, a microphone stand, and a box of Prismacolor pencils. And in that same order, I developed a sense of self: I hated ballet, I enjoyed singing, and I loved to draw.
When an art teacher introduced me to Adobe Photoshop, they challenged me to crank out fifty business cards in one hour. Challenge accepted. By the end, I realized the card itself doesn’t matter; it’s the story of the person or company behind it that counts.
I no longer “make things,” I've learned how to make them matter. Now, I’m the one flipping the script: What’s your story? And more importantly, are you ready for me to help you tell it?
